In this course, participants will learn about the ancient Indonesian method of color dying fabrics, Batiking. Molten wax will be used to cover a scarf in a pattern. The scarf is then dyed with the color absorbed in areas that the wax is absent creating a unique piece.

When:  March 11 and 13
What time:  7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday  and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday
