Destination Imagination is a community-based, competition program that builds participants’ creativity, problem solving, and teamwork in enjoyable and meaningful ways. Destination Imagination strives to prepare youth for college, career, and life through 21st century learning and STEM principles. Participants learn creative and critical thinking, collaborative problem solving, teamwork, project management, risk-taking to overcome obstacles, perseverance and self-confidence. Participants will have every opportunity to grow, learn and prosper in a fun, hands-on learning environment. An informational meeting for families will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 6 PM in the large meeting room at BOCES. Registration for Destination Imagination classes will open on Friday, October 10.
